Shooting outside Empire State Building, New York.

NYPD (New York Police Department) police say five people have been shot outside the Empire State Building.

The good news is that the shooter is dead.

NYPD told the media that the number of dead is still unknown, though initial reports claim that two people have been killed in this mishap. NYPD also added this shooting has no links to terrorism.

Fire Department received a call around 9 am (New York Local Time) on Friday and the emergency units were on scene within minutes.

The shooting occurred at 34th Street and Fifth Avenue, just beside the city iconic skyscraper and a massive tourist attraction.
