Many fake Twitter accounts have been blocked which were accused of misinforming people of India about violence against Muslim.
There are number of news that the Indian Government requested to censor inflammatory tweets but it is still uncertain who is actually behind the block.
There are many twitter accounts which are getting the following message
"This Website/URL has been blocked until further notice either pursuant to Court orders or on the Directions issued by the Department of Telecommunications.
Earlier, in January the government tried to block/censor content of social network which were offensive to Indian culture. However, the current situation is more bad.
